Senior Accountant

Growing manufacturing company in Torrance needs SENIOR ACCOUNTANT to start ASAP!

Will be involved in a wide range of activities, incl month-end closing processes, support of accounting and finance infrastructure and variety of financial analyses and special projects. Must be results driven and highly analytical while at the same time, hands-on and detail-oriented.

Journal Entries
Preparation of maintenance of budgets and reporting
Support in the prep of multi-level financial statements and consolidated financial statements
Prep of SG & A cost center reporting
Reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet accts
Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedule
Maintenance and support of B/L and supporting cost accounting systems
Consolidation and analysis of monthly financial results
Development of financial models to assit in analyzing operating plan
Other special projects, financial analysis and ad hoc reports

Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
2-5 years of experience in accounting, preferrably in manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Advanced knowledge of Excel (i. e. pivot tables, vlookup, etc)
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and organizational skills
Must be able to work independently & manage time
Strong ability to take ownership of responsibilities, projects, and have good interpersonal skills
LOCAL candidates only: maximum 45 minute commute to Torrance

Salary/Benefits:
Temp-to-Hire with full benefits when perm
May consider Direct Hire for the right candidate
