REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 5 years experience in supervising, specifically in a shipping/receiving department
Knowledge of MRP/ERP (MAS 200 preferable)
Detail oriented, organized, strong leader
Good with simple mathematical calculations/conversions (kg/lb, etc)
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Forklift Certified
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Clean background check
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Receiving: Inspection of packages received
Timely unpacking & distribution of goods received
Verification of documents (packing slips, invoices, delivery confirmation, etc)
Shipping: Ensure correct labeling and packing slips
Manage/comply with specific shipping requirements
Ensure department correctly picks & packs
Evaluate best and most cost effective shipping methods analyzing various carriers
Authorize all outgoing shipments
General: ISO audit leader
Interact in MRP system and generate reports
Interact with supervisors in other departments
Supervise, train, review, promote, discipline as needed within department
Safety training and ensure compliance on daily basis
Housekeeping and other as needed
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00-4:00 or 8:00-5:00
Compensation: $40-45k/year DOE
