Our Three Hiring Choices

As a full service company, First Call offers a number of hiring options to accommodate your needs.

Temporary

Our team of professionals will find you a candidate who can stay as few as 4 hours or be there indefinitely.  First Call takes care of the payroll, the taxes and assumes full responsibility for all employee liabilities.  The billrate is established when you call us with the details and you are billed for only the hours actually worked.

Temp to Hire

Our temp to Hire program is based upon an accumulated 600 hour assignment.  Once our employee has met this requirement, he/she may join your staff at no additional fee.  Should you decide you would like to hire our employee before the 600 hours have been fulfilled, we are happy to offer early conversions as outlined below.

451 - 599 hours 25% of Direct Hire Fee
600 + hours No Fee

*Direct Hire Fee represents the amount calculated from our Direct Hire program

For Example:

Direct Hire Fee:
350 hours accumulated:
$8,000
x   .50
Conversion Fee: $4,000

If within the 600 hours our employee does not meet your expectations the position will be refilled with an employee who will “inherit” the original accrued hours.  Temp to Hire placements that are less than 40 hours per week will be reviewed on an individual basis.  Please contact a First Call staff member for details.

Direct Hire

Depending on the nature of your open position, it may be more appropriate to hire an employee directly rather than going through the temporary to hire program. Reasons vary from company to company, but should that be the case for you, First Call has established a career placement division to help with your more difficult positions.

Our Fee Schedule

We charge 20% of the annual compensation for positions up to $50K and 25% of the estimated yearly compensation for positions above $50K.

Our Guarantee

If your new employee does not meet your expectations, the following refund program will be in effect:

  1. If your employee resigns or is terminated within the first 30 days of employment, we will offer a free replacement or refund 100% of the paid fee.
  2. If your new employee resigns or is terminated beyond 30 and up to 90 calendar days, First Call will offer a free replacement of a prorated refund of 1/90th for each day not worked. We will also be happy to credit that amount to your new placement.

First Call would like the opportunity to refill any position, which did not work out for you.

As a contingency firm we know we have to go the extra mile to provide better service than our competition. We are paid only if one of our candidates is actually hired by your company.
