Our aerospace client needs a Brake Press Operators, 2for second shift- 2:30pm-11pm.
**Machine set up and operation.
**Monitor machine operation and display readouts to detect malfunctions.
**Inspect and measure parts to verify conformance to specifications.
**Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
**Ability to present information in one-on-one and in group situations. Must be proficient in math.
Our client, a fishing and marine supply company, is looking for someone who can do accounting and full-cycle payroll for 12-13 employees. Must know ADP and QuickBooks. The company also uses Dynamax.
This is a temp-to-hire position paying $50-70K per year.
Customer Service Assistant Manager
Our client, the world’s largest plastic pipe manufacturer, seeks an assistant manager customer service, to manage the customer service function by providing support to team members regarding sales orders, developing operating procedures and training team members on new or enhanced processes. The Assistant Manager resolves customer issues and procedural problems and serves as subject matter expert on department processes and systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
*Interpret work procedures for customer service team members and assist in resolving customer service and procedural problems.
*Evaluate customer purchase orders and quotations for accuracy and conformance to established policies. Ensure accurate entry of purchase orders by customer service team.
*Ensure timely processing of RMA/RG (returned material authorizations/returned goods) and CAs (Credit Advices) by customer service team.
*Review records and reports pertaining to shipping to verify details, monitor work processes and resolve issues. Ensure documentation of special freight terms as appropriate.
*Maintain, update and troubleshoot customer part codes in AS400/Friedman system.
*Communicate effectively with customers, plant personnel, sales team and internal departments to ensure problem resolution results in high level customer satisfaction.
*Compile and prepare reports and records required by management.
*Assist in recruiting and training staff, and making recommendations for advancement, promotion and other changes in employee status.
*Facilitate team meetings to share knowledge and lead trainings.
*May assist in developing individual/team/company performance indicators to measure customer service activities and track individual/team/company performance.
*Provide leadership and technical support on various customer service projects.
*Recommend new methods to effect continual improvements in efficiency of customer service operations. Develop and maintain formalized processes and procedure manuals.

Quality Control Inspector
One of our clients, a machine shop in Gardena is looking for a Quality Control Inspector. Must have Quality Control experience in a machine shop, be able to read blueprints and some have some knowledge and experience using basic handtools, computer savvy is a plus!!

Tax Preparer / Accountant
Our client, a CPA firm in the South Bay, is looking for a senior accountant to join their team. The position is part-time during the off season, and full-time during tax season (January-April.) Part-time hours (25-30/week) during the off season can be flexible. When full-time, ideal work schedules should observe our general office hours of 8:30-5:30 Monday-Friday.
The primary job duties and responsibilities are the following:
*Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
*Serve as main contact for assigned clients to request information, and advise clients on tax and related accounting matters.
*Assist with gathering information and drafting responses to client IRS and state tax notices.
*Review (with some occasional preparation) of accounting and bookkeeping services, which may include monthly/quarterly/annual bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for management internal use, account reconciliations, payroll and payroll tax filings, and sales tax filings.
*Electronically sending electronic copies of tax returns to clients and other administrative duties, as needed.
The qualified candidate will have 3+ years’ experience preparing and reviewing tax returns, a BA in accounting or a related field, and will be working towards a CTEC, EA or CPA. Preference will be given to individuals that can demonstrate a strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Lacerte, and the MS Office Suite.
Our client, a machine shop in Gardena, is looking for Machine Operators and a Plate Saw Operator. Must have experience working around or with machinery in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to operate Duplex Milling Machines, Double disc and Blanchard grinders. Must have experience using micrometers and calipers and reading blueprints is a plus! 1st and 2nd shift available.
