Our client, an investment company is Santa Monica, is looking for an Admin Assistant to start immediately.
Primary responsibility is to assist the Executive Assistant and Consultants.
Answer phones and greet guests.
Ship and receive mail/packages.
Basic AP and AR- create and file expense reports and invoices.
Arrange lunches and meetings;

Requirements:
Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Ability to work with all levels of staff, independently and as a team player.

President of Distribution

The President of Distribution will oversee and manage all aspects of the company’s procurement, logistics and warehouse operations. You must have extensive executive level experience in food-based supply chain management and have the ability to lead the ongoing development of company-wide distribution strategies. You will be responsible for building impactful, efficient and cost-effective supplier relationships and provide direction and continuous improvement for the manufacturing facility. You must have a proven track record of effective use of budgets that fall within the scope of responsibility.

Requirements:

15 years experience in food based supply chain management
    Bachelors degree in related field
  Thorough understanding of fiscal and HR management techniques
  Thorough knowledge of compliance requirements and governmental regulations
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to develop and present comprehensive reports
    Have an interest in Japanese food and its culture
  Oversees preparation of annual budget
  Manage company suppliers
  Oversee negotiations with external vendors
  Approve contracts, advertising and marketing campaigns

Construction Accountant

Your key responsibilities are to record Payroll and to make sure payroll accruals are properly recorded. Take care of
Accounts Receivables and make sure deposits are recorded in general ledger. Take care of Accounts Payable and cash reimbursements. Invoice clients for projects. Work with controller in analysis of project costs and billings. Assist with preparing, analyzing and reviewing jobs that are in progress and jobs that are completed. Perform monthly closings and prepare monthly and annual financial statements. make sure sales tax, property tax and and any other city licensings are prepared and filed. You will report to and work closely with the Controller.

  5+ years experience as an accountant in a construction-related field

  Experience with Foundation software a plus but not required
  Strong problem solving skills
  MS Office 365, Excel, QuickBooks
  Familiar with construction materials and terminology
  Strong background in job costing

Labeling Assistant

Our client, a sushi franchise company, needs a Labeling Assistant to join their growing organization. You will be responsible for updating items and pricing into company’s database. You will be inputting product lists -making sure all entries are accurate. You will be printing out labels, ensuring that ingredient disclosure is accurate . Miscellaneous administrative tasks as required You will also be training users on the tablet system-setting up user login credentials.

Executive Chef

Our client, a sushi franchise company, is looking for an Executive Chef to start immediately. Your main responsibilities will be to design new recipes, guide recipe and food product development and improve preparation methods. You will research food trends for competitor analysis. You must have at least 5 years in Product Development in Sushi and Asian Food. You must have the ability to create original recipes/sauces from scratch. Experience in franchise/food chain restaurants is necessary. Bilingual Japanese preferred. Must have a Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent.

General Manager of Operations

Your main responsibility will be to direct the daily operations of a large, successful sushi franchise company located in Los Angeles. You will oversee the activities of the Business Operations Team, the Recruitment Team and the Travel Team. You must have at least 10 years of industry-related experience including 3 years in an upper management role. A background in multiple location management (restaurant and/or grocery stores) is preferred. Up to 25% of time will be spent traveling, as necessary, for the operations. <strong>Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration-MBA preferred.

Our client in Torrance, a supplier of office equipment, is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The position is responsible for all aspects of purchasing. Salary range $20.00 - $24.00/hour DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

  Purchase order processing
  Purchase planning; responsible for shipment and handling logistic-related coordination/arrangement
  Maintain item data, assist product survey and analysis
  Coordinate product sample
  Perform report preparation
  Weekly/Monthly Sales Forecast Report based on open orders
  Backup and support local sales AR invoice posting

Qualifications:

  Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  Bachelor Degree in Business-related field
  Minimum 1 year experience related to Purchasing, Logistics, or Supply Chain
  Detail oriented, organized, self motivated, problem solver
  Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and spreadsheet skills

Accounts Receivable

Our client,  who specializes in purchasing airplane parts, is looking for an AR person to start immediately.
Will input and process Accounts Receivable invoices. Maintain up-to-date records from cash receipts from each customer and reconcile AR Sub ledgers to General Ledger.
Track delinquent accounts Prepare account statements and send to customers. Utilizes appropriate collections methods.
Prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax returns.

M-F 9-5 with 1 hour lunch = 35 hour week.

$20-$23/hr DOC.

Requirements:

  Must have 2+ years of recent work experience in fulfillment!
  Must have a High School Diploma, pass a background check and drug screen before start date.

Transactional Legal Secretary

Our WLA client, a law firm specializing in transactional law, is looking for a Legal Secretary with no more than 10 years experience in the legal field. You will be drafting client communications, doing calendaring, proof reading and red-line editing. There is heavy transcription, so you need to be a good typist and have excellent computer skills. The firm is MAC based, so you must be proficient using MAC.

The hours are M-F 9-6.
