Election Workers

Election Helpers needed for September 1st and 2nd in West Los Angeles.

First Call Staffing is looking for 80 workers to assist with an upcoming Entertainment Guild election on September 1st and 2nd. This is a fun and easy way to make some extra money! (SAG and AFTRA members are not eligible to participate).

September 1st: Training day 12 pm - 4 pm.
September 2nd: 6 am - until finished (very possibly 5-6 hours overtime)
$20.00/hour plus OT

• Must be able to commit!
• If you attend the 4-hour training on the 1st and return for the entire day on the 2nd, you will be paid for 8 hours the 1st.

Attire: black pants and white button-down blouse /polo-type shirts. (NO T-shirts/hoodies/halter tops etc.)

Project is confidential and workers will not be permitted to leave for lunch.
Lunch and beverages will be provided or you may bring your own.

AP/AR with QuickBooks


Our client, a specialized packaging company in Torrance, is looking for someone to assist with AP and AR and receive goods using QuickBooks.

The position will start out part-time but likely evolve into full time. Must have at least 1-2 years experience with QuickBooks-will be tested.
Must be able to prioritize.

M-F 8-12/1 or 8-5 when full time.

Our client in Gardena is looking for a Purchasing Agent for all purchasing and inventory activities to support material requirements, for maintaining supplier surveys and metrics.


  Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing purchasing and supplier data
  Evaluate existing suppliers and new potential supplier
  Reconcile all purchasing transactions and maintain inventory security
  Maintain records of goods ordered and received
  Identify and create inventory locations
  Maintain lot control and traceability
  Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales
  Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for suppliers and equipment
  Plan and analyze material requirements

CCTV Security Systems Monitor


Our client, a manufacturing company in East Rancho Dominguez, is looking for a Security Systems Monitor to work Monday through Thursday 3pm- 11pm.

  The security monitor will be responsible for monitoring the facilities operations and employee activities using CCTV.
  Keep daily logs of events, preserve video coverage/evidence of significant events as directed.
  Provide escort services to equipment and facilities’ supply vendors when needed.
  In charge of controlling the facility gated area and truck trap for vendor delivery/pick-up from within the Security control room.
  Must have minimum 2 yrs of Security Monitor experience.

Tuesday through Saturday 3pm-11pm

$15.75 /hour

Must have HS diploma, pass background check and drug screen

Supply Planning Coordinator

Our client in Gardena, a well known manufacturing company is looking for a Supply Planning Coordinator to assist the Purchasing Manager. This is a temp to hire job opportunity for the right candidate.

Essential Functions:

  Maintain purchased items parameters, per policy and guidelines
  Implement the Workflow System from beginning to end. From PO creation to invoicing
  Process invoicing received from vendors, freight forwarders, pier pass and other invoices that come through purchasing department for processing. Contact vendors if invoices are not received on a timely manner
  Match invoices with POs and packing slips. Make sure quantity billed, total amount charged, credit memos issue and other documents matched and accurate before scanning them to workflow for final approval by management.
  Work closely with accounting department to ensure timely payment to vendors
  Report problems or issues encountered in NAV to the management and follow up until problem is resolved
  Coordinate with contract overseas manufactures and suppliers for all required commercial documents and follow through until receipt of such documents


  High School Diploma/GED
  Excellent written and oral communication skills
  Computer skills, Microsoft Excel and Word
  Must be able to work independently, be detail oriented and highly organized
  3 + years experience


Assembly Workers

Credit card manufacturing company is looking for Assembly line workers

Day and night shifts available:

6am-6pm Pays $15/hr plus OT. 6pm-6am pays $17/hour plus OT.

One week work 3 days, the next week 4, alternating.

(4 different schedules to choose from- any hours worked after 8 regular will be paid overtime)
